Brighouse based Pass the Parcel, is part of the APC Overnight network and has recently expanded its operation with a new 3500 square foot purpose built unit.

The new premises sited on a business park, represents a significant investment by the company and will complement its existing 28,000 square foot facility and will be used for processing parcels.

Formed 18 years ago as a parcels company Pass the Parcel has continued to grow and develop its range of services in order to maintain its competitive edge. To this end via its sister company Palletmaster Ltd. the company now provides a pallet service, warehousing and fulfilment service further reinforcing its position in the marketplace.

Handling over 200,000 parcels a year Pass the Parcel was one of the first companies to join the APC Overnight network when it was formed 12 years ago a move which it sees as being key to its continuing success.

Pass the Parcel Managing Director Jeremy Sutcliffe commented: “This latest investment by Pass the Parcel reflects the company’s continuing growth and success in the region and opens yet another new chapter for the business.

“Our strategy has been to continue to evolve and develop to ensure that we continue to meet the demands of the marketplace and the opening of these new premises is a further example of this.”

Pass the Parcel services the Brighouse, Huddersfield and Halifax regions. Employing a team of 30 staff the company also operates a fleet of 18 vehicles ranging from artics to 2.5 tonne vans. Additionally pursuing a continuous programme of investment, Pass the Parcel has recently refreshed its vehicle fleet with seven new vehicles and two trailers.

APC Overnight has 120 depots nationwide and handles nearly 10 million parcels annually.
